Out of Rowan Charity Cup
There was an exciting finish to tonight's Rowan Charity Cup game at Cambusdoon. When Ayr completed their innings with 141 on the board for the loss of two wickets, they looked safely set for victory. But a combination of circumstances - solid hitting by Craig and Tracey, a weak Ayr attack and mis-fielding - allowed Ferguslie to grasp the initiative. They completed the exciting finale by collecting 10 runs in the last over to win.
It was a bright evenings cricket but a disappointing result for the Ayr supporters.
