Cambusdoon win to avoid relegation
There was good news at Cambusdoon where the 2nd XI were requiring a victory against Deanpark to maintain their position in the Reserve League and did so by recording a nine wicket victory. Bowling the visitors out 90, with David Baines claiming 5-20 and two wickets each for Richie Borland and Nari Bhandari, they then raced to their target in under twenty overs, Callum Henderson top scoring with 33.

A very youthful team fell to a narrow defeat at home to Victoria, who set them an imposing target after being bowled out for 262, Matthew Baines taking 5-40 and Harry Boyd 3-63. While always behind the run rate the young team put up a great effort in their run chase, with a century stand between Matthew Baines (43) and big brother Johnny (51), 30 from Richie Simpson and a quickfire 43 from Harry Boyd as they finished on 241-9.

Cambusdoon XI win at Torrance House
An inexperienced Cambusdoon XI recorded an excellent victory away to Torrance House. Put into bat in a match reduced to 40 overs after delayed start due to early morning rain they lost Matthew Baines early, but a stand of 98 between Robbie Henderson (36) and Matthew Cooper with his first senior fifty took them to 113-1 before a batting collapse saw them eventually bowled out for 150. In reply Torrance House were in early trouble as opening bowlers Matthew Baines and Nari Bhandari both struck early to reduce them to 12-4 before they made a slight recovery only for Dipesh Kharel to rip out the middle order. Bhandari and Baines then returned to each claim a further wicket before an excellent piece of fielding from Robbie Henderson claimed the run out to seal the victory, Baines finished with figures of 4-14, Kharel 3-21 and Bhandari 2-34.

Defeat at home to Whitehaugh
The Cambusdoon XI with a few well known veterans making a return to the fold fell to a seven wicket defeat at home to Whitehaugh in the Reserve League. Knocks of 75 from one of the same said veterans Albert Simpson and a maiden senior fifty from Harry Boyd helped them on their way to a more than respectable total of 272-9. The visitors then made lightwork of reaching their target thanks to an unbeaten 157 from opener Russell Lauder despite a couple of early wickets for Donny Henderson as they finished on 273-3.

Borland fifty seals victory over Clydesdale
An excellent knock of 58 not out from Richie Borland saw the Development XI to a comfortable victory over Clydesdale at Cambusdoon. After restricting the visitors to 131-4 Borland guided the innings home as they won by 8 wickets with almost three overs to spare.

Cambusdoon XI move out of relegation area
The Cambusdoon XI moved out of the bottom two with victory over St.Ninians in the Reserve League. Put into bat they struggled early on as Euen McBeth removed the Cambusdoon top order before Richie Borland (88) with help from youngsters Harry Boyd (28) and Matthew Baines (31no) helped them reach 238-7 in their 50 overs. The St. Ninians reply got of to a solid start before the leg spin of Harry Boyd with three wickets slowed their progress and the home bowlers tightened their grip on the game restricting them to 214-9 to win by 24 runs. There were two wickets each for Richie Borland and Callum Henderson.
