After many delays through Covid, Interclub matches were eventually able to take place. Prestwick were the visitors for the first match . Batting first they were bowled out for 104, with Scott McElnea in excellent form claiming three wickets in his opening spell and had good support from Michael English with two wickets on debut and Pushkar Bhandari chipping in with 3-13 as he polished off the tail. The Ayr reply got off to a flying start and were 38-0 after 5.1 overs when heavy rain caused the game to be abandoned.
