Victory away to Kirkstyle
The Development travelled to Kilmarnock this week to take on Kirkstyle and left again with a victory by 43 runs. Put in to bat by their hosts they posted 168-6 in the allocated 30 overs with Steve Baker top scoring with 59 on debut and Toby Nixon (33) again in the runs. They then restricted Kirkstyle to 123-7, Bobby Lynch pick of the bowlers taking 3-8 from his five overs.

Development XI record victory in season opener
The Development XI were eventually able to get their season underway. They hosted St. Ninians and recorded a fine 76 run victory. Batting first they were bowled out for 131, Toby Nixon top scoring with 36. They then bowled out the visitors for 55, Nari Bhandari doing the damage claiming three early wickets in his spell of 3-5. There were also two wickets each for Chris Hill and Josh Porter.
