Ladies & Girls Cricket Information - Poloc and Ayr come together ...
This year we have some exciting news of our join up with Poloc Ladies in order to support each other and get some good cricket played.
"The Poloc and Ayr ladies teams would like to share the exciting news that for the 2016 season the two teams will be coming together to play as one. This will support both clubs to field a full team and have a great summer of cricket, while supporting each other in the development of their respective teams."
The Ladies & Girls practise on a Wednesday night at the nets where we meet around 6 - 6.30 pm. Our trainers are varied and this year there will be some sessions led by Kari Carswell of Cricket Scotland. We usually have training for a good couple of hours including drills , fielding practise , batting & bowling in the nets and sometimes a small game for practise. It's all good fun and this year we are hoping that a few more new girls will join in and enjoy the practise and learn what it's all about !
As we have all our games arranged now it is important that we practise regularly in order to be ready for the coming season. If there are any girls or ladies who would like to join in please come along on a Wed night to practise.
We are a friendly bunch who just want to play and enjoy the game...and do as well as we can. All welcome.

Well done to the ladies and girls who participated in the Kwik Cricket coaching course held on Friday night (19th April) and who passed with flying colours ! We shall all now be able to help to coach the younger girls who may want to come along.
Thanks and well done to Mags, Diane, Iva and Sonia and to Tim Hart for running the course for us all.
